I have been a pharmacist for over 20 years, working in many different areas of the pharmacy world. I spent my career in public service, first in the United States Navy, and then the United States Public Health Service and now the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services*. I retired from the military after 22 years of service at the rank of O-6 (CAPT). I’ve traveled all over, working in disaster response most notably in West Africa for Ebola and New York City for Covid-19. I’ve always worked in the retail sector as my side job, except for the 3 years I lived in Okinawa, Japan.

My deep interest in menopause came up a few years ago from a personal experience and I’ve been immersed ever since. I’m concerned by the lack of information and training from conventional medicine leaving menopausal women out on their own, suffering and susceptible to scams. I hope to fill part of this gap with the niche specialty of being a medication expert and fellow menopausal woman.
